COVID-19 Telecoms Grant Fund

In this national crisis, SwitchAid has launched a rapid response fund to help smaller registered charities and not for profits that have been affected by the impact of COVID-19.

The aim of this fund is to support charitable organisations that are having communication issues as a result of COVID-19 by provided a professional cloud phone system, fully funded for 3 months.

Response to the fund will be given within 7 days of receiving application.

Who Can Apply?

Any of the following charitable organisations:

  • UK registered charities (registered with Charity Commission, Scottish Charity Regulator or Charity Commission for Northern Ireland, or as shown in the Charities Act 2010)
  • Organisations registered with Companies House or the Public Mutuals Register, as a charitable or not-for-profit entity, eg Community Interest Companies, Companies Limited by Guarantee and others
  • Unregistered entities and social enterprises (additional information may be required)

How Is This Funded?

The Telecoms Fund  is supported and funded between Switchaid and technology partner, Mission Labs. As a not for profit, we work with charities and not for profits then utilise our profits to give back to the organisations we work with.

The Telecoms fund is one of our ways of giving back and supporting the charitable sector during the coronavirus (COVID 19). SwitchAid has final decision on the approval of thew fund allocation.

About This Fund

Eligible applicants will gain access to a professional Cloud Phone VoIP system, fully funded for 3 months (usually £15/m per user).

Set up and on-going support is included within the fund.

There is no needs for desktop handsets or expensive cabling with Cloud Phone VOIP. Simply download the software to your computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone.

You will just need access to broadband or a 4G/5G network as the phone system runs over the internet.
