You introduce someone

Tell us about a charity, good cause, or business that could benefit from what we do. Fill in our short form — it takes two minutes.

2

We take care of them

Our team gets in touch, finds the right solution, and gets them set up. No pressure on them — we do everything. We'll keep you in the loop too.

3

Funds go to your cause

Once they're live and their first payment is in, we transfer an unrestricted cash donation directly to your organisation. Yours to use however you need.

month's line rental
paid to your cause

Real, unrestricted funds — not a voucher or a credit

Every introduction you make earns your organisation a donation equal to the first month's recurring line rental on the new contract, paid by bank transfer. Hardware and one-off costs are excluded; this is purely the recurring monthly service charge. The bigger the organisation, the more lines they take, the more you raise. Introduce a business with 10 mobile lines at £15/month? That's a £150 unrestricted donation to your cause.

Who can you introduce?

There are more ways to raise funds than you might think

Every organisation you introduce to SwitchAid means unrestricted funds for your cause. Think about who's around you.

🏛️

Other charities you know

Introduce another charity to SwitchAid and help them save money on their running costs — while your organisation earns an unrestricted donation at the same time. It's one of the simplest ways to raise funds while genuinely helping someone else.

e.g. partner charities, local hospices, food banks, housing associations, mental health charities
🌐

Other charities in your group or network

If you're part of a group, federation, or umbrella organisation, think about the other members. A single introduction into a network could raise significant funds for your cause — multiple organisations joining means multiple donations.

e.g. charities in the same network, affiliated organisations, regional branches of national charities
❤️

Local businesses looking to give back

Many local businesses want to support their community but aren't sure how. Introducing them to us gives them expert, impartial advice on their telecoms — and turns that goodwill into unrestricted funds for your cause. Everyone wins.

e.g. SMEs, family businesses, independent retailers, professional services firms in your area

💼 What about businesses — doesn't SwitchAid only work with charities?

SwitchAid focuses exclusively on charities, good causes, and the education sector — so when you introduce a business, they won't be managed by SwitchAid directly. Instead, they'll be looked after by Project Business Solutions (PBS) — our sister company that specialises in telecoms, mobiles, and broadband for UK businesses. PBS handles everything from quote to contract, so the introduction is in safe hands, and your unrestricted funds come to you just the same.

PBS works with businesses of all sizes and sectors. Some of the types of businesses that benefit most include:

Professional services Retail & hospitality Healthcare & dental Construction & trades Education & training Legal & accountancy Logistics & distribution Property & letting agents Manufacturing Charities & social enterprises
🔗 Business referrals are managed by Project Business Solutions — projectne.co.uk
What happens to the organisation you introduce?

We'll look after them — and help them save money

When you introduce a charity or organisation to us, we take it from there. Our team will get in touch, carry out a Funded Telecoms Review, and find them the best deals available across telecoms, mobiles, and broadband. We're 100% impartial — we source a minimum of three independent quotes and only ever recommend what's right for them. There's no cost to them, no pressure, and no commitment required. The aim is simple: to help them save money on the services they're already using, so more of their budget goes to their cause — not their bills.

What they receive

What does SwitchAid offer the organisation you introduce?

SwitchAid works exclusively for charities, CICs, community groups, schools, and good causes — helping them save money on their core running costs. Impartial, expert advice at no cost, with a minimum of three independent quotes every time. There's nothing to pay and no obligation.

So you're not just raising funds for your cause — you're genuinely helping another organisation too:

  • Charity mobile phones & SIMs
  • VoIP & cloud phone systems
  • Business broadband & connectivity
  • Funded Telecoms Review — no cost, no obligation
  • Minimum 3 independent quotes every time
  • Help with grants and funded projects

The organisation you introduce will always benefit. Our Funded Telecoms Review typically saves charities up to 40% on their telecoms, mobiles, and broadband — money that stays in their cause, not with their suppliers. Introducing them to SwitchAid is a gift as much as it is a fundraising opportunity.

The SwitchAid team
What we do for them

A Funded Telecoms Review — and a genuine chance to save

When you introduce a charity or organisation to us, the first thing we do is carry out a Funded Telecoms Review. We review everything they're currently paying for — telecoms, mobiles, broadband — and find out where they're overpaying, what they're missing, and what better options look like.

It costs them nothing, there's no pressure to switch, and we only ever recommend what's genuinely right for them. On average, charities save up to 40% after an audit.

And here's the fundraising part: every new service they take through SwitchAid — now or in the future — raises more unrestricted funds for your cause. The relationship keeps working for you long after the first introduction.

📞
Phone lines & VoIP
Are they paying for traditional lines they no longer need? Could hosted VoIP save them money?
📱
Mobile SIMs & handsets
Are their mobile contracts due for review? Are they on the right tariffs for how they actually use their phones?
🌐
Broadband & connectivity
Are they getting the speeds they're paying for? Could full-fibre or a different provider cut their bill?
💷
Exclusive charity rates
We access exclusive tariffs only available to charities through SwitchAid — rates they won't find going direct.
40%
Average saving after a SwitchAid Funded Telecoms Review — money that goes back into their cause, not their suppliers' pockets

And the fundraising keeps working — for every service they ever take

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Got a question about how the fundraising works? The most common ones are answered below — or just give us a call.

How much can our organisation raise?

The amount you raise equals the first month's recurring line rental of the organisation you introduce — so the more users, SIMs, or lines they take, the more you raise. For example, a business signing up for 5 VoIP lines at £20/month each raises £100 for your cause. A charity taking 20 mobile SIMs at £12/month each raises £240. Hardware costs are not included — it's purely the recurring monthly service charge. The larger the organisation you introduce, the more you raise.

Is the donation really unrestricted?

Yes, completely. The donation is a straightforward unrestricted charitable gift — there are no conditions on how you use it. Whether you put it towards running costs, a project, equipment, or staff hours, that's entirely up to you.

Can we introduce a business even though SwitchAid only works with charities?

Absolutely. When you introduce a business, they'll be looked after by Project Business Solutions (PBS) — our sister company that specialises in telecoms, mobiles, and broadband for UK businesses. The funds still come to your charity just the same. We handle the handover, so there's nothing extra for you to do.

Is there a limit on how much we can raise?

No limit at all. Introduce as many organisations as you like, and we'll raise funds for each one that goes live.

Is there a minimum contract term?

Yes — to qualify for the fundraising donation, the organisation you introduce must sign a minimum 24-month term. As most of the organisations we work with sign 24 or 36-month contracts anyway, this won't affect the vast majority of introductions. If the introduced organisation opts for a shorter arrangement, the donation won't apply on this occasion — but we'll still do our best to help them save money.

Do you include energy?

Unfortunately we're not able to include energy as part of the fundraising programme at this time. However, if the organisation you introduce is overpaying on their energy, we'll still do our best to help them save money on it as part of our wider service — it just won't generate funds for your cause in the same way. Every other saving we find them is a win for their cause, which is what matters most.

What if the organisation I introduce doesn't sign up?

No problem — there's no obligation on them and no cost to you. Funds are only raised when they're live and billing, so nothing happens if they decide not to proceed. We'll always be friendly and helpful with anyone you send our way.

When will we receive the funds?

Within 60 days of the introduced organisation's first payment being received. We'll contact you to arrange the bank transfer and confirm the amount.

Can we make an introduction through our Account Manager?

Absolutely — if you're an existing SwitchAid customer with an Account Manager, you're welcome to pass the introduction directly to them rather than using the form. They'll log it for you, make sure it's attributed correctly, and keep you updated from there. The form on this page is just the easiest route if you don't have a direct contact yet.

What if we're not yet a SwitchAid customer?

You don't need to be a SwitchAid customer to make a referral — you just need to be a registered charity or not-for-profit. So feel free to refer away, even if you haven't yet worked with us directly. And while you're here, it's worth knowing that if your organisation is looking to cut costs too, a Funded Telecoms Review with our team costs nothing and could save you up to 40% on your telecoms, mobiles, and broadband. Whether you're looking to raise funds through referrals, reduce your costs, or both — we're here to help. Speak to us or apply for a Funded Telecoms Review today.
