Their Story
Teesdale Community Resources, is a community business based at the TCR Hub charity which exists to enable the people of Teesdale to have opportunities and resources to develop and raise aspirations. We welcome and encourage people from all areas and walks of life to come and use our resources in order to help us invest in our local community. You don’t have to book anything or be a member, just come down and experience our amazing building and grounds.
The Problem
TCR was introduced to SwitchAid from YMCA North Tyneside. They felt they were paying too much for their bills. After a quick check by SwitchAid, we could confirm that they had rolled out for contract on their electricity which resulted in overnight increase in bills.
Overview
Street League have 100+ staff members, all needing mobile phones with calls and data.
With any staff team, numbers can fluctuate, meaning managing the account and monitoring usage can be difficult.

The Solution
SwitchAid found a range of suppliers that offered much lower rates for TCR to choose from. They decided to switch to a deal that generated the largest grant for the centre and fixed pricing for the next 5 years, creating stability for the centre.
